The University of California Berkley's Disabled Students' Program's website presents information on how this university serves students with physical and/or sensory disabilities. It offers many helpful suggestions on how to better serve students with specific disabilities, including sensory impairments, limited manual dexterity, limited mobility, chronic illness or pain and everything in between. It is a great resource for teachers of all ages and levels.

Here is online access to the chapter from Barbara Gross Davis's book Tools for Teaching entitled "Academic Accommodations for Students with Disabilities." This chapter includes many useful suggestions and tips for teachers as to how they can best accommodate for students with physical and/or sensory disabilities.
